Receive Payment Security
Security settings can be modified to allow certain staff members access to the receive payments tab and the functions within.
To Grant Access
- Click SETUP > Security Administration > user rights templates tab and select the security template.
- Click [edit].
- Open Resource Groups > Transactions.
- In the Rights area, the following rights are available under Receive Payments:
- View: Activates the receive payments tab.
- Add: Activates the [Add New] link on the Receive Payments Summary screen.
- Modify: Activates the Post and Save links on the Navigation Toolbar on theReceive Payments Detail screen for un-posted items.
- Delete: Activates the Remove
icon on the Receive Payments Summary screen. Also activates the Abort link on the Navigation Toolbar on the Receive Payments Detail screen.
- Export: Intended as a future feature to export the receive payments summary list to Microsoft® Excel®.
- Post: Activates the Post link on Navigation Toolbar of the receive payments tab.
- Post Locked: Activates the ability to post the received payments to a locked period.
- Zero Entry: When checked, a post of $0.00 receive payments will be permitted. When unchecked, a post of $0.00 receive payments will not be permitted.
- In the Rights area, make the appropriate selection.
- On the Navigation Toolbar, click Save.
